About me

Currently, I am a Ramón y Cajal  research fellow in the Philosophy Department at Universidad de Murcia, Spain, and a member of the Minimal Intelligence Lab (MINT Lab). Previously, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Utecht University (The Netherlands), within a research project led by Dr. Annemarie Kalis, and at the University of Wollongong (Australia), within a research project led by Prof. Daniel D. Hutto.

My research focuses on the philosophy of the cognitive sciences, with a particular emphasis on ecological (neo-Gibsonian) psychology and other embodied and situated theories of cognition. My main interests are to develop a neo-Gibsonian approach to comparative cognition, and to study how socio-cultural norms shape and mold human agency. I am PI of the research project «Transformando la ciencia cognitiva comparada: Aplicaciones de la psicología ecológica y el enactivismo para superar el neurocentrismo y los antropo-sesgos» (22586/JLI/24).

I have ample experience teaching across various areas within philosophy, including the philosophy of science, the philosophy of mind (including the philosophy of non-human minds), logic and critical thinking, and the philosophy of media and culture.
